Barinade!!

Here's boss number three in the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time series I'm doing. It's Barinade! I'll have the process up soon, and there are links to the previous illustrations if you missed them.

Also, I've finally gotten work with Wizards of the Coast, and I'm working on my first assignment for Magic: The Gathering!

EA Games Art Test #2

The second art test for EA Games. Apparently, the team liked the test, but the project managers have decided not to hire anyone new and cancel the position. They'll hold onto the test in case something opens up in the future, but...time to move on.

EA Games Art Test

Well here's some work for an art test for EA Games. I imagine it's ok to post this up, since after taking this test they thought I might be more suitable for a different team, and had me do a second test. This is the first one. Everything finished within two days.

 

 

Star Trek study

Here's a quick study practicing texture, brushwork, movement, some approaches to painting within a silhouette, and some methods of showing depth with atmospheric perspective. Star Trek screen cap used as ref. Hopefully will aid as I work more on Barinade.

Barinade Progress

This is a little old, but I haven't posted it up yet. It's the latest progress on the next Ocarina of Time boss, Barinade.  I'm also in the middle of finishing two art tests for EA Games, which I'll post up soon and share the results when I get them!

Well at the last minute Riot extended the deadline for their contest, so I drew another image for it. It's the character Ryze, from League of Legends.

Morgana - League of Legends

So I put this up last night on deviantart and my blog, and in both places was immediately called out for being a dumbass and not rendering the hands and feet. I thought it looked cool to leave them as lines. It didn't look cool. Here's what I should have done haha.

Anyway for people seeing this for the first time, it's Morgana from League of Legends for their recent art contest. A lot of fun drawing this one.
